An update for my foreign friends

Naznin's comment made me realize I should let you all know what's been going on in my life in Colombia. After the new year's celebration, this is an update about the last month.
I am back in EL TIEMPO, working as always, but I had an interesting experience because for the last three weeks I was offcially in charge of the office, 'cause my boss went on vacations. It was a first for me, and I have to tell you, I think it was very educational.
And speaking of educational, it seems I will be back as a teacher this semester, so probably this blog will again be used for what it was originally intended, before it turned into a travel's log.
I have read everybody's mail and have planned to answer, but I am ashamed to say that I haven't send more than a few lines a couple of times. I sent a e-card to you all, but apparently no one got it.
I can tell you I haven't written much since I was editing, but now that I am back in my desk, I am examining interesting subjects.

The lady in the picture is Patricia Janiot, the anchor of CNN en español. She is from Bucaramanga (my home town) and she was here for the holidays. I interviewed her because of a humanitariam program she is conducting here. The story is not ready yet.
I promise to keep you all updated if you still check this once in a while. Let me know (comment) and I am sure we can keep in touch.
Happy New Year, guys!! My best wishes to you all...
W.
